UX/UI CASE STUDY
A STEM focused gamification app geared towards young African American girls to get them interested in science.
The Problem
The percentage of African American women in science-related fields is declining. Science is an interest that isn't properly introduced to individuals of this demographic at a young age.
The Solution
This app and the product it is paired with were created with the goal in mind to get African American girls interested in science at a young age.

Visual Design
Below are just a few of the man screens I designed for this app. The colors are bright and the animations are crisp with the idea of holding a child's interest in mind. Some elements have been censored by company request.
User Interface Elements
This application needed an interface that could easily be used by children ages 4 - 8. With this in mind, I developed simple drop-down menus, navigation bars, buttons, interactive animations, and more.
Development
Once the screens were visually finished, I worked alongside a developer to help create a functionalmobile application that would be used by the company to pair with another product they developed. This gave me an inside look on what the developers look for and helped me gain experience for future products. This particular app will be available to the public by the end of this year.
